H. Russell Heiser, Jr.

Russ Heiser has served as our Chief Executive Officer since March 2023. Prior to assuming the role of CEO, Mr. Heiser served as Chief Financial Officer since December 2015. From July 2015 to December 2015, Mr. Heiser served as a consultant to the Company. From 2008 to 2015, Mr. Heiser served as an advisor to family offices in South Florida. In this role, Mr. Heiser focused on venture capital and private equity investments and was responsible for sourcing, financial analysis, transaction execution and management of portfolio companies across a variety of sectors. From 2004 to 2008, Mr. Heiser was an Executive Director in the Investment Banking Division at UBS in New York and, from 2001 to 2004, was an Associate in the Investment Banking Division at Bear, Stearns & Co. in New York. Mr. Heiser received his BS in Accounting from the University of Richmond and an MBA from Columbia Business School. Over the course of his career, Mr. Heiser has earned both CPA and CFA designations.

John Davis
Chief Operating Officer
With over thirty years of financial services and retail experience, Mr. Davis joined the company in November 2020 and is responsible for all aspects of FlexShopper’s operations teams, including order fulfillment, customer service, collections, IT, marketing, and merchandising functions. Before joining FlexShopper, John was the President of Credit and Collections and Conn’s Homeplus, where he was responsible for the $1.5B Credit business segment for the company from 2016 to 2020. Mr. Davis founded GFC Advisors Ltd, a consulting company that specialized in alternative finance investments prior to joining Conn’s Homeplus and served as CEO from 2013 to 2016.  Prior to that, he was President, E-Commerce for DFC Global Corp from 2010 to 2013, where he was responsible for all international online lending operations for the company.  Mr. Davis was a Managing Director at Compucredit from 2000 to 2010, where he was responsible for corporate risk management, forecasting, M&A, and portfolio management.  Mr. Davis has held previous financial services roles at First USA, Household, Beneficial, and Barclays in credit policy and analytics.  Mr. Davis received his undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware.
